Served at 8-10° C as a social drink, with a cold platter, white meat or fried fish
As Georg Mahn and Friedrich Ohlerich started producing their own beer in 1878 there were more than 100 breweries in the German country Mecklenburg with around 20 breweries in the Hanseatic city of Rostock alone.
Entrepreneurial skills, qualified employees, investments in modern technology and the use selected raw materials would eventually turn Mahn and Ohlerich into the market leaders in Rostock.
Instead of bitter hops the Mahn and Ohlerich beer is brewed with aroma hops which contain a higher range of flavors. The beer then matures in a cool storage cellar.
